Terms of Service

Agreement

Kingdom Reader is operated by Field's Edge Software LLC. By signing in to or using Kingdom Reader, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These are Kingdom Reader's own terms, and they are the agreement between you and Field's Edge Software LLC for your use of Kingdom Reader. When you accept them, we record which version you accepted.

The Service

Kingdom Reader is a free Bible study application. It provides tools for reading Scripture, listening to text-to-speech audio, following guided study journeys, and studying together in groups. There are no paid subscriptions or in-app purchases in Kingdom Reader. We provide the service free of charge and without any guarantee of availability or uptime. Our public commitments about the service are published at kingdomreader.org/commitments.

Your Account

• You sign in to Kingdom Reader with the shared Field's Edge Software account, the same account used across our products, including Hundredfold Home.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account yourself.
• Automated account creation and credential stuffing are not permitted.

Child Accounts

In these terms, a Household Adult is an adult who manages a household in Hundredfold Home, and a Child Account is an account that a Household Adult creates for a child in that household.

A Household Adult may allow a Child Account to use Kingdom Reader. When they do, the Household Adult accepts these terms on behalf of that child, and the child is not a separate party to this agreement.

A parent's action is required to create the child account and to issue its first credential; the child cannot act in a household the parent did not admit them to.

A Household Adult may ask about, or request deletion of, a Child Account's Kingdom Reader data by contacting us at the address below.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the service without permission.
• Upload or share content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.

Content

The Bible translations in Kingdom Reader are in the public domain or otherwise openly licensed for our use. The current list of translations and their attributions is published at kingdomreader.org/sources and may change as we add or update translations. Study journeys and typology content are authored by Field's Edge Software LLC.

Content you create in the app, such as personal journeys, tags, and saved memory verses, remains yours. You grant us a license to store and display it in order to provide the service to you, and to show it to other people only where you have chosen to share it: to the members of a group you share a journey with, or to anyone who opens a share link you create.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

You may stop using Kingdom Reader at any time, and you may ask us to delete your Kingdom Reader data by contacting us at the address below. We will delete it within 30 days of your request, except for the limited records described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Kingdom Reader is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we make no warranty about the accuracy or completeness of any content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field's Edge Software LLC and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which for a free service is zero.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of the State of Georgia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Each version carries a version number and an effective date. If we make a material change, we will present the updated terms to you for acceptance and record which version you accepted. Corrections that do not change the substance of these terms are published with a new version number, and your continued use of the service after they are posted is your acceptance of them.
