Overview

Kingdom Reader is a free Bible study app built by Kingdom Forge Labs. We never sell your data, we don't run ads, and we collect only what is necessary to provide the service. If you have questions, reach out at privacy@kingdomreader.org.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: When you create an account, we store your username, email address, and a securely hashed password.
  • Usage data: We store your reading progress, journeys, bookmarks, and group memberships to provide the service.
  • Diagnostics: We collect anonymized error reports and performance data to monitor and improve app reliability. This data is not linked to your account.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not serve advertisements.
  • We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers operated by Kingdom Forge Labs. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS) and hashed passwords to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

Kingdom Reader uses the following categories of third-party services to operate:

  • Text-to-speech: Scripture text is sent to a TTS service to generate audio. No personal information is included in these requests.
  • Email delivery: We use an email delivery provider to send transactional emails such as password resets and email verification. Your email address is shared with this provider for delivery purposes only.
  • Cloud storage: Generated audio files are stored and served via a cloud storage provider.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Email Communications

We send transactional emails only — password resets and email verification. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your information within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Kingdom Reader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
