Privacy Policy

Overview

Kingdom Reader is a free Bible study app built by Field's Edge Software LLC. We never sell your data, we don't run ads, and we collect only what is necessary to provide the service. If you have questions, reach out at privacy@kingdomreader.org.

Information We Collect

• Account and identity: You sign in with the shared Field's Edge Software account (the same sign-in used by Hundredfold Home and our other products). That identity service holds your email and authentication credentials. Kingdom Reader stores a profile linked to that identity so we can provide the app — for example preferences, reading progress, and memberships described below.
• Usage data: We store your reading progress, journeys, saved reading state and preferences, and group memberships to provide the service.
• Command and search text (optional): When you use the in-app command/search bar, the text you type may be sent to a language-model service so we can interpret navigation or playback intents. We do not use that text for marketing or advertising. We may retain command text in operational logs/stats for reliability and abuse prevention.
• Diagnostics: We collect anonymized error reports and performance data to monitor and improve app reliability. This data is not used to profile you for marketing.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not serve advertisements.
• We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

One Account Across Our Products

Field's Edge Software LLC, creators of Hundredfold Home, operates a single sign-in shared across the products we operate. An account you hold with us works across Kingdom Reader and our other products — you don't register separately for each, and you aren't creating or holding a separate Hundredfold Home account just to be recognized as the same person there.

That sharing is about identity only. Sharing an account makes Field's Edge Software LLC, legally, one data controller across the products it operates — it does not mean your activity in one flows into another. We do not, and will not, use what you read or listen to in Kingdom Reader — your reading history, journeys, and audio activity — for marketing, segmentation, or targeting in Hundredfold Home or any other Field's Edge Software product, and we do not hand that data to those products' marketing, growth, or advertising systems. Our products share who you are. They do not share what you do here.

Data Storage

Your Kingdom Reader data is stored on servers operated by Field's Edge Software LLC. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS). Authentication credentials for the shared sign-in are handled by that identity service.

Third-Party Services

Kingdom Reader uses the following categories of third-party services to operate:

• Text-to-speech: Scripture text is sent to a TTS service to generate audio. No personal account information is included in these requests.
• Language model (command/search interpretation): Typed command or search text may be sent to an LLM service we operate (or host) to interpret navigation and search intents. Command statistics we collect may retain the input text. That text is not used for marketing.
• Email delivery: We (or the shared identity service) use an email delivery provider to send transactional emails such as sign-in verification and account security messages. Your email address is shared with that provider for delivery purposes only.
• Cloud storage: Generated audio files are stored and served via a cloud storage provider.

Data Retention

We retain your Kingdom Reader account data for as long as your account is active. Diagnostic data is retained for up to 90 days. If you delete your account, associated Kingdom Reader data is permanently removed within 30 days (identity-service records may follow the retention rules of that shared sign-in).

Email Communications

We send transactional emails only — account security and verification messages related to your shared sign-in. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters from Kingdom Reader.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your Kingdom Reader data and related account information at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete Kingdom Reader information within 30 days, subject to the shared identity service where applicable.

Children's Privacy

Kingdom Reader does not offer self-serve signup for children under 13. A Child Account created by a Household Adult through Hundredfold Home may use Kingdom Reader under that adult's acceptance of the Hundredfold Home terms for the household. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a Child Account than is reasonably necessary to provide the service. Household Adults may contact us at privacy@kingdomreader.org about a Child Account's Kingdom Reader data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
